I've made the switch!

Well, I've decided to officially migrate my Diaryland blog to this new site. I hope all goes well, and unfortunately I have no idea how long it will take me to move everything. At least work is calmer now, so I can spend some time here during the weekdays (which is basically all I get for blog-time). I have decided that now would be the best time to change the name of my blog, too, since I was already changing the address. "Crochet Sleuth" is a nod to my Nancy Drew addiction (ok, my mystery book addiction in general, Nancy in particular). I was/am a little worried that people would think I would be a "pattern search" service because of the name, but then I decided they'd figure it out when they viewed my blog and when I didn't reply to any search requests. Hey, that is what CPC is for--now that is a great site!

The main reason that I have made this switch is due to Diaryland's lack of an RSS/XML feed service. I wanted to join the next generation of bloggers, and have my site notify Bloglines (and the like) users when I update, as opposed to the more time consuming ring surf.

So, sorry there's no bells and whistles on my site yet, but rest assured I am on the case! I will also work on getting my address switched with Yarn Tomato's Crochet Blog ring. I hope that those of you who link to me on your sites will take the time to update your link to me. =) I recently got access to Photoshop, and am looking forward to making a new button for my new blog! Oh, the possibilities.....

OK, that's it for now, I will be back ASAP with a post about my Thanksgiving weekend. It was a doozy, that's for sure.
